Whether you are struggling with weight management, a new medical diagnosis, disordered eating behaviors, or just want to feel better in your own skin, Three Rivers Nutrition and Dietetics has you covered. Our dietitian will help you navigate a new or old nutrition diagnosis, translate the science so it is easy to understand, and be your cheerleader every step of the way.
Nutrition Counseling
Making change is hard. At Three Rivers Nutrition and Dietetics, we work with you to make an individualized health and nutrition plan to meet your unique goals and ease the transition into new habits. We understand that change isn't linear— we meet you where you are on your health journey and focus on making small, sustainable changes that promote healthy lifestyle habits.
All of our practices and suggestions are researched-based and backed by science. Our goal is to equip you with the confidence and tools needed to feel at peace with food and your body. We use an evidence-based counseling approach called Motivational Interviewing. Motivational interviewing is a collaborative and non-judgmental approach that defines your motivations and barriers to help make positive dietary changes.

Pantry Makeover
Feeling overwhelmed when looking at your pantry? Tend to opt for takeout because there is "nothing to eat" at home? With our pantry makeover, Dana will come to your home and help you navigate the food products you already have in your pantry and refrigerator. Learn how to read ingredient lists, store food properly to prevent food waste, and get the most "bang for your buck" while choosing food products. By reviewing your current food and providing recommendations for more nutrient-dense products, Dana will help you create space for healthier choices and increase your purchasing power while grocery shopping.
Grocery Store Tours
Navigating the grocery store can be daunting at times, especially when new products are coming out daily. With our guided grocery store tour, individuals and groups will go aisle by aisle and learn about the nutrition density of different foods, review various aspects of the nutrition label and ingredient lists, identify markers such as "no salt added" and "high fiber" (among others), and gain tips on how to be a savvy shopper, including meal planning ideas and strategies to reduce food waste. During the tour, Dana will address any specific dietary needs or health concerns that participants may have.
